LAHORE: The Punjab government, under the direction of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has launched its first official YouTube channel to raise public awareness about price control and inflation.
According to officials, the channel aims to monitor market prices, reduce inflationary pressure, and educate citizens about food security, nutrition, and the supply of essential commodities. It will also provide daily updates and authentic information related to food items and their prices.
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Salma Butt announced the initiative through a YouTube message, saying the step would help “control prices and curb public exploitation.”
The public has been advised to subscribe to the official channel for verified information on the Price Control Department. Citizens can also share feedback and register complaints through the 1223 helpline.
