Web Desk: The method for getting a petrol subsidy for the people of Punjab has been announced. On the social media platform X, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz shared the procedure for motorcycle owners to receive discounted petrol.
She said she is pleased to announce a major relief package for the people of Punjab. According to her, starting from tomorrow, motorcycle owners will be able to get up to 20 liters of petrol at Rs. 100 per liter.
She further explained that motorcycle owners can contact helpline 1000 to avail the subsidy. In addition, they can also apply through the Maryam Ki Baat App or via the web portal.
Maryam Nawaz also announced that there will now be no charges for motorcycle registration or transfer in Punjab. She emphasized that the Punjab government is committed to reducing the financial burden on the common man.
