Recently, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s eye condition worsened in October 2025 and that he was not provided timely medical care.
However, contradicting this claim, a previous statement by Imran Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan, dated December 2, 2025, has gone viral on social media. In that statement, she had described Imran Khan’s health as satisfactory.
On December 2, 2025, Uzma Khan told the media that Imran Khan was in good health and was not facing any serious medical issues. With the resurgence of this statement online, questions are being raised about why the party’s recent position seems to contradict the family’s earlier statements.
Social media users are pointing out two possible interpretations. One view is that the current PTI leadership is exaggerating Imran Khan’s health condition. The second view is that there is a lack of consistency in the family’s statements, which is creating confusion.
Some users argue that if Uzma Khan herself had confirmed on December 2, 2025, that his health was fine, the new claims now need clarification.
It is worth noting that Salman Safdar submitted a report to the Supreme Court regarding Imran Khan’s health, spanning seven pages and 22 paragraphs.
PTI claims that despite treatment, the vision in Imran Khan’s right eye is now only 15 percent. The report also states that Imran Khan has requested the court to allow him to be examined by his personal physicians or another qualified specialist.
