The Director General ISPR Lt. Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited University of Technology Lahore and held a special interactive session with students and faculty, where he spoke in detail about national security, current challenges of terrorism, the networks of Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, and the ongoing hybrid warfare against Pakistan.

On the occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Munir paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for the historic success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and expressed pride in the Field Marshal.

Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry exposed recent terrorist activities by the BLA in Baluchistan and the false propaganda spread on social media under the guise of those incidents.

He emphasized ensuring full implementation of the National Action Plan to eradicate terrorism from its roots.

The DG ISPR highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements following the “Battle for Truth” and appreciated the positive role played by youth on the social media front.

Students stated that they asked questions openly, and the military spokesperson provided comprehensive and reasoned answers to all queries. Students also agreed with the DG ISPR’s stance regarding social media trends generated through algorithms. They said such sessions are highly commendable for educating the younger generation about facts.

The students reaffirmed their commitment to remain united and stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces like a fortified wall against the enemy.
