President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif promised the nation on Tuesday to take strict action against India-backed terrorists after a suicide blast in the district and session court G-11 area in Islamabad. In the deadly attack, 12 citizens have lost their lives.
In the last two days, Pakistan has faced two major terrorist attacks, including the Wana Cadet College attack and another in the federal capital.
In the meeting at the President’s House, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif promised to take firm action against the foreign-backed terrorists, and they said that the security operations will continue to wipe out all Khawarji from our homeland.
President Zardari and PM Shahbaz also reviewed the overall security and political situation in the country.
Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz, federal minister Mohsin Naqvi, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Khalid Hussain Magsi, and Abdul Aleem Khan attended the top-level meeting.
According to the media reports, almost 12 individuals have lost their lives and 36 sustained injuries as a result of a suicide attack in the G-11 area of Islamabad.
The federal minister Mohsin Naqvi, said that attackers targeted a police vehicle after the failed attempt to enter the court premises.
Multiple media sources confirmed that it was the 1st attack in Islamabad in the last three years.

According to the security forces, all the India-backed Khawarij who attacked Wana Cadet College were killed as a result of a successful operation by Pakistan’s armed forces.
During the operation, Pakistan’s security forces killed three terrorists.
The college building is currently being cleared due to the threat of landmines, security sources confirmed.
The media reports confirmed that no student or teacher of the Cadet College was harmed during this successful operation.
