Web Desk: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Iran during the first week of July to attend the funeral prayers of the martyred Iranian Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, official sources confirmed.

The funeral prayers and burial ceremonies for the late Iranian leader will take place after the observance of Ashura.

Consequently, the prime minister will join dozens of international leaders and state representatives who are arriving in Tehran to pay their final respects.

After completing his official visit to Iran, Prime Minister Sharif will immediately travel to Turkey to hold further bilateral discussions with Turkish leadership.

Meanwhile, official sources in Tehran report that massive arrangements are underway to accommodate foreign dignitaries for the multi-day funeral procession.
