PM Shehbaz contacts Malaysian Prime Minister, expresses solidarity over recent floods

Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted the Malaysian Prime Minister by telephone on Friday to express his deep solidarity with the Malaysian government and people following the extensive damage to property caused by a severe tropical storm.
During the call, PM Sharif expressed heartfelt condolences over the loss of precious lives in the disaster, and he assured the unwavering support of the government of Pakistan for Malaysia’s recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Mr. Sharif prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and extended sympathies to the families affected by the calamity.
PM reiterated that in this difficult hour people of Pakistan stand with Malaysia and assured that Pakistan is ready to provide every possible assistance in these testing times in the ongoing relief and rescue operations.
During the telephone call, the Malaysian Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its support, offered assistance, and kind sentiments.
