PM pays tribute to late hero Lt. Col Shahzada Gul Faraz, announces school in his name

Web Desk: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the family of Lieutenant Colonel Shehzada Gul Faraz, who was martyred while leading security forces against the extremist group Fitna al-Khawarij.

During his visit, the prime minister met the officer’s mother, wife and children, offering condolences and prayers for the late officer. He paid respects at Lieutenant Colonel Gul Faraz’s grave, reciting the Fatiha and praying for his high spiritual rank.

“Lieutenant Colonel Shehzada Gul Faraz sacrificed his life to protect the homeland,” the prime minister said. “He set a supreme example of courage and bravery. I, along with the entire nation, take pride in our martyrs and their families.”

The prime minister emphasised that Pakistan will never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs and their families. He assured that the government and the Pakistan Army will continue to take full care of the officer’s family.

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif announced the establishment of a school in Mansehra named after Lieutenant Colonel Shehzada Gul Faraz, aiming to honor his legacy and inspire future generations.

Federal ministers Attaullah Tarar, Engineer Amir Maqam, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, Prime Minister’s advisor Rana Sanaullah, Captain (Retd) Muhammad Safdar, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Shah Ji Gul Afridi were present during the visit.
