PCB completes PSL franchise valuation

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the valuation of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise teams and other assets has been completed. The board has sent renewal offers to the teams with updated fees for the next ten years.

To ensure transparency, PCB organized both joint and individual meetings with franchise representatives and the chartered firm EY MENA, allowing teams to raise questions about the valuation process.

Reports regarding the potential value of two new PSL franchises have also been received, and tenders for their sale will be issued soon. The proposed cities for the new teams include Hyderabad, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Gilgit, and Rawalpindi.

PCB emphasized its commitment to maintaining fair and transparent relations with all PSL partners, highlighting the league’s crucial role in the development of cricket in Pakistan and its growing global recognition.
