Global Super League 2026

Web Desk: PCB has granted NOCs to 13 domestic and national players, allowing them to participate in the Global Super League 2026 and the Caribbean Premier League.

The decision opens the door for a group of Pakistan cricketers to feature in overseas franchise leagues as part of their professional commitments.

According to the PCB, the following players have been approved to compete in the Global Super League 2026:

Muhammad Haris, Shehbaz Khan, Muhammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafique, and Farhan Yousuf.

In addition, the board also issued clearance to Saim Hussain, Mehran Mumtaz, Usman Khan, and Ali Shabbir for participation in the same tournament.

With these approvals, Pakistan continues its policy of allowing selected players to gain international franchise experience while balancing domestic cricket obligations.

Separately, the PCB granted a no-objection certificate to Muaz Sadaqat for participation in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), one of the most established T20 franchise competitions in the West Indies.

The approvals highlight the PCB’s ongoing approach of providing exposure to emerging and established cricketers in global T20 leagues. Officials say such opportunities are intended to help players develop skills, experience different conditions, and enhance Pakistan’s depth in white-ball cricket.

At the same time, the board maintains that participation in overseas leagues remains subject to performance, availability, and domestic cricket commitments.

In recent years, Pakistani players have increasingly featured in international franchise leagues, reflecting the expanding global demand for T20 talent.

The latest NOCs further reinforce that trend, with a focus on balancing national duties and franchise opportunities as Pakistan prepares for an increasingly packed international and domestic calendar.
