Web desk: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has reaffirmed the country’s confidence in its defensive strength while emphasising its commitment to regional stability and peaceful relations.
In a recent statement Khawaja Asif said Pakistan’s defensive capabilities and national resolve are time tested and unquestionable. He stressed that the country remains fully prepared to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity under all circumstances.
At the same time the minister highlighted that Pakistan does not pursue hegemonic ambitions. He stated that Islamabad has consistently maintained balanced and constructive relations with all countries based on mutual respect and reciprocity. According to him Pakistan seeks cooperation rather than confrontation and believes in peaceful coexistence.
Khawaja Asif described Pakistan as a confident nation of 250 million people focused on stability economic growth and prosperity. He noted that national strength lies not only in military preparedness but also in unity resilience and long term development goals.
The defence minister assured citizens that the country’s security remains in capable hands. He said Pakistan possesses strong and impregnable defences and expressed gratitude with the words Alhamdolillah while reaffirming trust in the armed forces.
His remarks come at a time of heightened regional tensions and underline the government’s dual message of strength and restraint. While projecting confidence in national defence Pakistan’s leadership continues to signal its preference for balanced diplomacy and regional stability.
