- Farther down, Trimmu measured 265,837 cusecs at medium, while Panjnad eased to low with inflow 169,030 cusecs and outflow 155,062 cusecs.
Authorities are watching katcha belts and advising early movement of livestock and valuables.
Pakistan Flood Forecasting: On the Ravi, mixed conditions prevailed
- Jassar and Shahdara were at medium with 82,140 and 78,340 cusecs respectively.
- Balloki was in high range at 114,130 cusecs.
- Sidhnai stood out as extremely high with 145,785 cusecs.
Whereas, district teams have been asked to patrol embankments, mark weak spots, and keep dewatering sets ready for nearby settlements.
Therefore, people are urged to avoid riverbanks and unauthorised crossings, especially at night, and to follow local control room messages.
Pakistan Flood Forecasting: the Sutlej showed the sharpest stress
- Ganda Singh Wala carried an extremely high 319,295 cusecs.
- Downstream, Sulemanki was high at 132,492 cusecs and Islam was medium at 95,727 cusecs.
In addition, continuous gauge reading and drone reconnaissance are under way to track seepage and boil points along protective bands.
Farmers in low fields are advised to shift machinery and feed stocks to safer sheds and to keep animals tethered on higher ground.
Overall, the picture points to multiple stress points rather than a single peak
Upstream very high flows on the Chenab, an extremely high mark at Sidhnai on the Ravi, and sustained pressure on the Sutlej demand caution.
Rescue 1122 and irrigation staff remain deployed with boats and barriers.
Citizens should keep phones charged, carry CNIC and medicines if moving, and cooperate with traffic diversions.
