Pakistani actress Kinza Hashmi has spoken about women’s safety and trust, saying that in light of the growing incidents of violence against women in Pakistan, every woman should be aware of whom she is placing her trust in.

During an interview, Kinza Hashmi discussed personal safety and potential risks, saying that sometimes even people who are close to us may not turn out to be safe.

According to her, many people do not realize that those who make them feel the safest can also become a threat to their lives. Therefore, it is better to remain cautious around everyone and prioritize one’s own safety.

She further said that if someone feels even the slightest concern in any situation, they should not ignore it but pay attention to it. Women’s instincts are often correct.

According to Kinza Hashmi, the problem is that women frequently live in fear, and if they speak up, they often face backlash.

The actress said that if you raise your voice, people turn against you, and if you support another woman, some even say that the same thing should happen to you. When you see such news every day, feeling afraid is natural. In such an environment, claiming that everything is fine is simply unrealistic.

Kinza Hashmi added that fear should not be viewed as a weakness but as a form of caution in this context. There is nothing wrong with feeling afraid and staying vigilant. In societies where serious incidents of violence occur, carelessness is not an option.

She further said that if you live in a highly safe country, you may meet people without much concern. However, in places where acid attacks and sexual violence against women occur, exercising caution is essential.

It is worth mentioning that Kinza Hashmi is currently portraying Rubab in the drama Leader, where she plays a strong-willed student struggling against class divisions.
