Pakistan–Qatar relations in focus, PM Shehbaz Sharif arrives Doha on two days visit

PM Shehbaz Sharif visit to Doha Qatar PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Qatar on a two-day official visit at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.


At Doha’s Hamad International Airport, the Prime Minister was received by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Muhammad Amir, and members of the diplomatic staff.


Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying him.


During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with the Emir of Qatar. The discussions will focus on strengthening economic cooperation, energy partnership, and people-to-people exchanges. Both sides will also exchange views on expanding collaboration in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and workforce mobility.


The visit reflects the deep brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar and highlights their shared commitment to further strengthening multi-dimensional cooperation.
