Pakistan Announce Strong Squad for U19 Asia Cup

Pakistan will be led Farhan Yousaf on the Under-19 Asia cup.

Under Farhan Yousaf, Usman Khan will be serving as the vice-captain, in the Under-19 Aisa cup.

Ahmed Hussain, Abdul Subhan, Ali Hassan Balcoh and Ali Raza are also included in the squad.

Huzaifa Ahsan, Hamza Zahoor and Danilyal Ali Khan will also be part of the team.

Muhammad Huzaifa, Momin Qamar, Muhammad Siyam, Naqab Shafiq, Muhammad Shayan and Sameer Minhas will also be part of the squad.

The tournament will be held in Dubai. It will be scheduled from December 12 to 21.  

India is placed alongside Pakistan in Group “A”. The other two members of this group will be Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 3.

Pakistan will play its first match on December 12. The second match will be played against India on December 14 at the ICC Academy ground.

The event will have a 50 overs format and will feature 8 teams. This tournament will provide U-19 Pakistan with the proper training and experience for the upcoming ICC U-19 World Cup. The world cup will be co-hosted by Namibia and Zimbabwe from 15 January to 6 February 2026.   

In the National Men’s Under-19 cup, 18-year old Farhan Yousaf led Lahore Region Whites. He scored 369 runs in seven matches, including a century and two half centuries.

The vice-captain Usman Khan statistics are also impressive. He was able to score a century in the last edition of the ACC U19 Asia cup.

He scored 429 runs in seven matches in National Men’s Under-19 cup which included two centuries and a half century.

Pakistan odds look good in this U19 Asia cup. The fans are excited. Hopefully the U19 team will perform according to fans expectations.
