Pakistan A achieved a huge triumph. They defeated India A by 8 wickets in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025. The game was played on Sunday in Doha. This victory takes Pakistan A directly to the semi-finals.

Maaz Sadaqat was the star of the match. Pakistan A opener Maaz, scored an unbeaten fifty. He made 79 not out in a very few 47 balls. The target of 137 runs that was pursued by Pakistan A was easily chased. They completed the game within 13.2 overs only.

India A’s Batting Collapse

India A batted first. They suffered a huge batting collapse. The team was bundled out for a mere 136 runs.

Opener Priyansh Arya lost his wicket early. He scored just 10 runs. Then, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Naman Dhir stabilized the innings. They built a solid 49-run second-wicket partnership. Suryavanshi looked dangerous. He unfortunately missed his fifty. He was caught at long-on for 45 runs.

This wicket triggered a collapse. India A lost their plot quickly. The score stood at 101/3. They then lost seven wickets for only 35 additional runs. The tail failed to contribute at all.

Pakistan A’s bowlers maintained pressure. Shahid Aziz was the most successful bowler. He was the pick of the attack. Aziz claimed three key wickets for his side. His efforts were crucial in restricting India A.

Pakistan A’s Quick Chase

Chasing 137 was never difficult. Maaz Sadaqat was aggressive from the start. He dominated the Indian bowlers. He ensured a swift chase. Sadaqat hit the boundaries frequently. He was dropped once, but made India A pay dearly.

The victory came quickly. Mohammad Faiq finished the match in style. He smashed a SIX off Naman Dhir’s bowling. This sealed the comprehensive 8-wicket win.

Tournament Status

The win gives Pakistan A a perfect record. They top Group B and enter the semi-finals. India A now face a crucial match. They play Oman on November 18. It is a game that they need to win. India, Oman and UAE are all competing for the second semi-final spot.
