Oppo Reno 15c unveiled in China

WEBDESK: The Reno 15c has been officially been unveiled in China. The phone was initially teased back in November during the launch of Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro. Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC powers Oppo Reno 15c. It is paired up with LPDDR5X RAM of 12GB and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 2760×1256 pixels and refresh rate of 120Hz. A peak brightness of 1,200 units will be delivered by the panel. An in-display optical fingerprint scanner will also be available in the phone.

The Reno 15c, at the back gets a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main wide sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide camera, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto unit. The phone offers a 50MP sensor for selfies.

The handset supports up to 80W fast charging and packs a 6,500mAh battery. It is 7.89mm thin and weighs 197g. It offers a couple of AI features and runs Android 16-based ColorOS 16.

Other specs of the phone include, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and up to an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

In China, the Oppo Reno 15c is currently available for pre-order. It will go on sale from December 19. It is being sold in College Blue, Starlight Bow colors and College Blue.

The 12GB/256GB option is priced at CNY 2,899 ($410), whereas the 12GB/512GB variant has a price tag of CNY 3,199 ($450).
