Lahore: Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that the implementation of strict traffic laws measures is the need of the hour, and there is no alternative to safeguarding the safety of the public.
In a statement, she said that traffic regulations are aimed at protecting the lives of people, and traffic laws must be followed strictly by all road users
She said that the innovative road mechanisms are being activated to improve traffic discipline on roads. She also added that accident incidents will decrease if people begin to act responsibly while driving.
She said that every violation is now being monitored in real time. She added that the e-ticketing system will be made even stricter in the future to curb violations.
She issued a stern warning to parents, calling underage driving equivalent to suicide. She stated that legal action will be taken against those parents who allow their children to drive vehicles.
