LAHORE: Mahira Khan has said that the media deliberately tries to create the impression of rivalry or conflict between her and Saba Qamar, even though nothing of the sort exists.
Mahira recently appeared on the show Gupshup with Vasay Chaudhry, where she spoke openly on a range of topics.
Recalling her first meeting with Fawad Khan during the drama Humsafar, she said he used to speak very little back then, and he still does.
According to her, the perception that Fawad Khan is arrogant or that his attitude has changed is incorrect, as he has always been the same.
Speaking about media comparisons with Saba Qamar, Mahira said she holds great respect for Saba and considers her an exceptional actor.
She clarified that a deliberate attempt is often made to create a sense of competition or rivalry between two successful women, even though there is no truth to it.
The actor added that she has not yet worked with Saba Qamar, but if she ever gets the opportunity, it would certainly be a pleasant and successful experience.
It is worth mentioning that similar rumours surfaced in 2019, claiming that Saba Qamar and Mahira Khan did not like each other. At that time, Saba Qamar had already dismissed the speculation, and now Mahira has also rejected it.
