Law enforcement agencies raid suicide bomber’s house

A raid was conducted at the house of the terrorist who carried out a suicide attack in Islamabad yesterday in a mosque.


According to police sources, four people were taken into custody, including the suicide bomber’s two brothers and a woman. The suicide bomber’s identity card was recovered from the site of the blast, and the suspected attacker was identified as Yasir, as per the name on the ID card.


Investigative sources further stated that the suicide bomber had been residing in Afghanistan for several months.
It is worth mentioning that a suicide bombing took place at an Imambargah in the Terlai area of Islamabad, resulting in 32 people being martyred and 169 injured.


Police sources said that on Ghazi Shah Imam Road in Terlai Kalan, the suicide bomber was stopped at the gate of the Imambargah, after which he blew himself up. According to police, the foreign suicide bomber was linked to Fitna-al-Kharij.


The district administration confirmed 32 martyrs and 169 injured, and an emergency was imposed in hospitals across the federal capital.
