Tarlai Blast: Suicide bomber identified as ISKP affiliate trained in Afghanistan

Web desk: Islamabad was shaken by a devastating suicide bombing at a mosque in the Tarlai area. Hospital sources confirmed heavy casualties as worshippers gathered for prayers. The blast spread fear and grief across the residents and raised serious security concerns.

According to security sources the suicide bomber was identified. He belonged to Ganj Mohalla Qazian in Peshawar. Investigators said he entered the mosque and detonated himself among worshippers which caused significant loss of life and injuries.

Sources further revealed that the attacker had links with the banned group ISIS Khorasan. He reportedly spent the past five months in Afghanistan. During this period he received training in the use of weapons and suicide attack tactics before returning to Pakistan to carry out the assault.

Law enforcement agencies launched a large scale operation after the attack. Security forces sealed nearby areas and began collecting evidence. Intelligence agencies are tracing facilitators and possible handlers connected to the incident.

The attack has once again highlighted the ongoing threat of terrorism and cross border militancy. Authorities said they remain committed to dismantling terror networks and protecting places of worship. Security has been tightened nationwide as investigations continue.
