Kim Kardashian, the American reality TV star and entrepreneur, revealed that she has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm during the Season 7 premiere of “The Kardashians.”
In a preview clip from the opening episode titled “Feels Like the Old Days,” released on Thursday, the 45-year-old is seen undergoing a brain scan. “There’s like a little aneurysm,” she says, as the camera focuses on the medical images displayed on a monitor.
A brain aneurysm develops when a weakened section of a blood vessel in the brain swells outward under pressure, similar to a blister. Although most aneurysms are small and not immediately life-threatening, a rupture can lead to bleeding in the brain, a serious condition known as a hemorrhagic stroke.
Her sister, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, reacts to the discovery with surprise, simply saying, “Whoa.” Kim adds, “They’re like, ‘Just stress,’” before reflecting, “People think I have the luxury of walking away.” The teaser also includes a moment where she admits, “This week has been the hardest week of my life.”
Details regarding Kardashian’s current health status remain uncertain, and it is unclear whether she is experiencing any symptoms. Representatives for Kardashian, including her publicist and legal team, did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
Kardashian, who has built a billion-dollar empire through her television career, social media influence, and ventures in cosmetics and shapewear, rose to fame through the hit reality series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” She filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West in 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage. The couple shares four children.
The latest season of “The Kardashians,” streaming on Disney-owned Hulu, continues to offer viewers a glimpse into the personal and professional worlds of Kris Jenner and her daughters — Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie. The series promises a mix of emotional revelations, dramatic moments, and exclusive insights into their family’s ever-expanding business empire.
