ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of the Sindh High Court (SHC), the female bear Rano from Karachi Zoo has been transferred to Islamabad, where wildlife officials welcomed her with flowers upon arrival.
According to details, Rano was airlifted from Karachi’s Faisal Base to Islamabad in a specially designed cage aboard a C-130 aircraft. Before the transfer, animal experts conducted a detailed examination of Rano’s physical, mental, and behavioral condition and declared her completely fit for relocation.
