Web desk: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the construction of a new jail in Islamabad. He confirmed that authorities are building the facility to meet modern security and administrative standards.
Naqvi stated that if the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf receives a sentence from an Islamabad court, officials will transfer him to this newly built prison. His remarks have drawn significant political attention due to the ongoing legal proceedings involving the PTI leadership.
