Imran Khan Directed Sisters to Talk to Indian Media, says Najam Sethi

Senior Journalist Najam Sethi said it is difficult to prove claims that PTI maintains deep ties with India, but asserted that Imran Khan had instructed his sisters to give interviews to Indian channels to highlight human rights issues as part of his plan. He added that Indian media is amplifying Khan because strategic circles across the border believe his return to power could weaken Pakistan’s military, making him, in their view, the most suitable option to advance India’s objectives.

Pakistan Mulsim League senior leader, Rana Sanaullah confirmed, “Imran Khan has said some things in his meeting with his sister which reveal his connections with India. We have evidence of this.”

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on Friday that the latest interview of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, with Indian media has become the final “nail in the coffin” for the PTI.

Khawaja Asif stated that the PTI as a party pay protection money to the Taliban. The Defence Minister also said that Imran Khan repeatedly refused to hold discussions with political leaders.

Khawaja Asif mentioned that PTI never criticised the anti-state narrative being spread on social media.

He further added that the party never spoke against the propaganda being promoted against Pakistan. The minister remarked that no other political party had ever attacked Pakistan’s integrity or existence except PTI.

Khawaja Asif stated that in the past, the former Prime Minister Nawaz gave several interviews to Indian media but didn’t speak a single word against Pakistan.

The Defence Minister said that Nawaz Sharif was jailed and ousted from office three times, but he never tried to build an anti-state narrative or crossed any boundary.
