A key meeting of the District Coordination Committee was held in Chagai under the chairmanship of the Inspector General Frontier Corps (IG FC).

Balochistan (South). The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, District Police Officer, officials of the district administration of Chagai, and representatives from various departments and institutions.


The purpose of the meeting was to review in detail public welfare measures in Chagai district, the law and order situation, efforts for poppy eradication, availability of health and education facilities, the performance of open courts and jirgas for resolving public issues, the repatriation of Afghan refugees, progress on development projects under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI), and the overall regional security situation.


On the occasion, the IG FC Balochistan (South) appreciated the efforts made through coordination and cooperation of the District Coordination Committee, including the swift and dignified repatriation of Afghan refugees, measures for poppy eradication, and the timely and quality implementation of development projects under the BSDI.


He further directed the officers of all relevant departments to strengthen coordination and cooperation to ensure lasting peace and stability in Chagai district, and to collectively play an effective and key role in the development and prosperity of the people of the district.
