Pakistani model Huma Saleem’s Instagram account disappears a day after harassment allegations against cricketer
ISLAMABAD: Pakistani model and social media influencer Huma Saleem’s Instagram account has disappeared just a day after she accused an unnamed national cricketer of harassment, threats, and emotional abuse.
Users attempting to access her Instagram profile are being shown a message stating, “Sorry, this page isn’t available.” It remains unclear whether the account was suspended by Instagram or deleted or deactivated by Huma Saleem herself.
A day earlier, Huma Saleem shared a series of Instagram Stories accusing an unidentified Pakistani cricketer of harassment, intimidation, and mental and emotional abuse. However, she did not reveal the player’s identity.
In her statement, she alleged that the cricketer continued to harass her despite having no contact with her for the past two months and had recently crossed all limits by issuing threats.
She further claimed that she had remained in an abusive relationship for a long time but could no longer stay silent.
Huma also alleged that the cricketer attempted to damage her professional reputation by contacting her colleagues, family members, and people associated with her work.
She further claimed that she would expose the alleged misuse of funds provided by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to Huma, she is preparing to initiate legal proceedings and will hand over evidence supporting her claims to her legal team.
She also said that every story has another side, alleging that she had been defamed, deceived, and that false claims had been made about their relationship.
So far, the identity of the cricketer has not been disclosed. No cricketer has publicly responded to the allegations, and the PCB has not issued an official statement on the matter.
