WEB DESK: Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have officially confirmed the launch date of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6). The game will launch on Thursday, November 19, 2026.

Initially GTA 6 will debut exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version will be arriving later as per Rockstar’s tradition. The PC version will probably be released in 2027.

The original window was May 2026; hence the new date is a six-month shift. Strauss Zelnick, CEO Take-Two stated that extra time will help them make sure that “the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve,”. Rockstar is chasing perfection no rush development.

Insiders have revealed that game has been content-ready for some time, despite rumours of development hell.

The city of Vice City set in the fictional state of Leonida will be returning back in GTA 6. Vice City is a satirical nod to Florida. There are two protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. The game will follow a “Bonnie and Clyde” narrative and will have the series’ first female lead.
