KARACHI: The prices of gold per tola in Pakistan has made a massive surge by Rs7,400 per tola as markets opened on Monday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, after a one-day pause, gold prices have once again seen a sharp rise in both local and international markets.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs7,400, reaching Rs429,862.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs6,337 to Rs368,530, while the price of silver per tola went up by Rs115 to Rs5,209.
Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $74, reaching $4,075.
On Saturday, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs 600, settling at Rs 422,462.
