Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan posted a significant decline on Saturday, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of gold per tola dropped by 9,100 rupees, falling to 430,662 rupees from the previous rate of 439,762 rupees.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by 7,799 rupees. It now stands at 369,223 rupees, down from 377,022 rupees a day earlier.

Global Market Slides


Meanwhile, international gold prices also retreated. The global benchmark slipped by 91 dollars, bringing the price to 4,083 dollars per ounce compared with the earlier level of 4,174 dollars.

Silver Prices Hold Steady in Pakistan


Silver prices in Pakistan remained stable on Saturday, with the metal trading at around 5,170 rupees per tola, according to market data. The rate for 10 grams stood near 4,432.5 rupees, while the per-gram price hovered around 443.25 rupees. Traders said these levels reflect routine market movement as buyers continue to track fluctuations in both local and international markets.

The simultaneous drop in domestic and global prices reflects easing investor demand and broader corrections in precious-metal markets. Traders said they are watching currency movements and international economic cues closely for further direction.
