WEBDESK: A low level flood has been reported at Sukkur Barrage on the Indus River. Similar flood levels have also been recorded at Tarbela and Guddu barrages.
According to the Flood Forecasting Division in Lahore, medium-level floods are currently being experienced at Kalabagh, Chashma, and Taunsa barrages on the Indus.
The Ravi River is facing a low-level flood at Jassar.
The Sutlej River is also under pressure, with low-level floods at Head Sulemanki and Ganda Singh Wala.
Meanwhile, the situation in the Kabul River has improved, with water levels at Nowshera returning to normal.
United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres has expressed deep sorrow over the recent floods in Pakistan and India. He offered UN support to both countries as they struggle with the disaster caused by heavy monsoon rains.
