Karak: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district terrorists attacked a police mobile van and martyred five police personal.
According Police, the police vehicle was on routine patrol when terrorists suddenly opened fire near Aman Kot that in the loss of precious lives.
The spokesperson said the incident took place within the limits of Garagri Police Station when firing was carried out on the police mobile. The martyred personal include Shahid Iqbal, Arif, and Safdar and the identification of the remaining two personal is underway.
According to media reports the police mobile was assigned to the security of a private company engaged in oil and gas exploration and was conducting routine patrols when terrorists seized the opportunity to attack.
The security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to identify and arrest the attackers and checkpoints have been set up at entry and exit points and a search for suspects is ongoing.
