RAWALPINDI: Eighteen terrorists linked to the “Fitna al Hindustan” were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBO) in Balochistan on October 28 and 29, 2025, said ISPR on Thursday.
The first operation took place in the Chiltan Mountains of Quetta District after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists in the area. Security forces effectively targeted the hideout, and following an intense exchange of fire, fourteen Indian-sponsored militants were killed.
In another operation conducted in the Buleda area of Kech District, four more terrorists were neutralized after their hideout was discovered and destroyed.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the slain terrorists, who were reportedly involved in multiple acts of terrorism.
Sanitization operations are ongoing to clear the region of any remaining militants. Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” counterterrorism campaign approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, reaffirmed their resolve to eradicate all forms of foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
