NCCIA Cyber Crime Islamabad circle has filed an FIR against Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi for his blasphemous remarks against the mosques.
Here is the content of the filed FIR against CM KP, “Consequent upon the conclusion of Enquiry No. 2287/2025 dated 08-11-2025 of NCCIA, Cyber Crime Reporting Centre. Islamabad, it transpired that the accused Muhammad Sohail s/o Muhammad Sattar, CNIC 2120168266579 r/o Shalobar Qambar Khel, Hisara Khwar, Bara Khyber and others, knowingly and deliberately with malafide intentions and ulterior motives, uttered false, misleading, derogatory and intimidating words against State Institutions, which were recorded. disseminated and propagated through Youtube channel having link: https://www.youtube com/@PTIOfficialPK, title Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf handle:@PTIOfficiaIPK (Video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apxNgUNqgC4, Title of Video: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi Media Talk Outside Adiala Jail) and other social media platforms.
In the aforementioned video, the accused made statement containing offensive, profane, false. misleading, and unfounded allegations, with the intent to malign, defame, and cause harm to the reputation and integrity of the State Institutions of Pakistan. Transcript of the excerpt of the said video, is reproduced as follows:- ہم یہ بھی دیکھ چکے ہیں کہ ہماری مسجد میں یہ سیکیورٹی فورسز کتے باندھتے تھے اور جب ہم جاتے تھے کہ یہ مسجد کی توہین ہے تو وہ کہتے تھے کہ یہ کتے اور آپ یہ ایک ہی بات ہے
The above false, fake, and ill-will content, publicly and intentionally uttered, and promoted by the accused and others through social media, is an organized attempt to undermine public trust in State Institutions, inciting racial hatred, creating unrest in the country, and destabilıze national security.
The accused Muhammad Sohail, is also found to be involved in preparing, publishing, sharing and circulating fake and misleading contents publicly on social media, with the intention to incite violence, create racial hatred, panic, fear, disorder and unrest among the general public, along with promoting antıstate sentiments, which is detrimental to the security, integrity and stability of Pakistan.
Prıma-facie, a case u/s 11, 20 & 26-A of PEСA 2016 is made out against the accused Muhammad Sohail s/o Muhammad Sattar, CNIC:2120168266579 r/o Shalobar Qambar Khel, Hisara Khwar, Bara Khyber and others. Role of other(s), if any, will be thrashed out during the investigation. Competent authority has accorded the permission for registration of FIR so the case is registered. The investigation is entrusted to Waseem Khan, Sub-Inspector, CCRC NCCIA Islamabad with the approval of competent authority. Copies of FIR are being sent to the concerned quarters.”
