Fareeda Shabbir reveals real reason behind her rapid weight loss

Senior television actor Fareeda Shabbir has shared the real reason behind her noticeable weight loss. She spoke during a recent appearance on Nadia Khan’s morning show Rise and Shine.

Fareeda said her weight loss was not intentional. She clarified she never used injections or shortcuts. The actor revealed she developed diabetes and also faced stress, which led to weight reduction. She said tension, especially related to children, affects health badly.

Fareeda added she only followed doctors’ advice and controlled her diet. She said her health has now improved and body pains have gone. She also shared that her husband, Shabbir Jan, has struggled with weight issues many times due to strong willpower and dieting cycles.

Fareeda Shabbir is a respected name in Pakistan’s television industry. She is known for strong performances in popular dramas such as Pas e Aaina, Ghalati, Romeo Weds Heer, Mera Dil Mera Dushman, Fareb, Yeh Zindagi Hai, Saraab, Dobara, and Bikhray Moti. She is currently appearing in Daam e Muhabbat and Madawa. She is married to Shabbir Jan and has two grown-up children, Ardil and Yashmeera.

In past several months, several Pakistani showbiz personalities have lost weight rapidly including Shagufta Ijaz. Social media users often speculate about the use of Ozempic injections, a diabetes medicine now linked globally with weight loss. However, many celebrities deny using such injections and credit medical treatment, strict diet, and lifestyle changes instead.
