“If we stand united today, no challenge can break us tomorrow. Pakistan belongs to all of us, and we all belong to Pakistan. Happy Independence Day,” Babar Azam added.

Pakistan is celebrating its 78th Independence day today with zeal and zest, as patriotic events are held across the country.
Earlier, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the nation on the 78th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence.
In a statement on X, the Prime Minister paid tribute to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He said they, along with other leaders of the independence movement, united the nation under one mission and turned the dream of an independent, ideological state into reality.
Shehbaz said Pakistan’s 78-year history is one of resilience, faith, and hope. He said the country has faced many challenges but achieved success in many fields.
The Prime Minister hailed Pakistan’s victory in the Marka-e-Haq operation during the recent four-day war with India. He said the triumph had reinforced the sanctity of freedom and renewed the national spirit. He praised the armed forces for acting as a “solid fortified wall” and forcing the enemy to back down. He paid tribute to the martyrs and prayed for them.
