Web Desk: Chery will begin delivering its Tiggo 8 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) to pre-registered customers in April 2026. The rollout follows strong demand and an earlier nationwide preview campaign.
The company unveiled the Tiggo PHEV series at the Pakistan Auto Show 2025 in November last year. It then held preview events across major cities to attract buyers.
Master Auto Engineering signed a partnership agreement with Chery Global in May 2025. The deal marked Chery’s entry into Pakistan’s hybrid and electric vehicle market.
The company opened advance bookings in January 2026 at Rs10,999,000 for early customers. It raised the price to Rs11,299,000 on February 1 after receiving strong demand.
Chery says the rollout reflects its customer-first strategy. The “Hello Chery” approach focuses on technology and aftersales support.
The Tiggo 8 PHEV leads Chery’s hybrid SUV lineup in Pakistan. The company markets it as a seven-seater SUV for families. The vehicle produces 496 horsepower and 735 Nm of torque. It offers an electric range of up to 90 kilometers and a total range of about 1,200 kilometers.
The SUV includes premium interior features and a three-row layout. It also offers advanced infotainment and a Sony audio system. In addition, the model features a zero-gravity massage passenger seat and climate-controlled seating.
Safety remains a key focus. The Tiggo 8 PHEV has a five-star safety rating. It includes 10 airbags and advanced driver assistance systems.
The company supports the launch with a 3S dealership network. It currently operates 10 dealerships across Pakistan. It plans to expand the network to 20 locations by 2027.
Chery operates in more than 120 countries worldwide. It has over 18.5 million users globally. The company has remained China’s top vehicle exporter for more than 20 years.
