Rawalpindi: In a ceremony at the General Headquarters (GHQ), Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was presented with guard of honour, formally recognizing his elevation to the highest military position.
In this regard a formal and dignified ceremony was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Monday, where Field Marshal Asim Munir, was presented a Guard of Honour by contingents of the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, and Pakistan Air Force.
Senior military leadership, including the Naval Chief, the Chief of Air Staff, and other high-ranking officers attended the ceremony, who gathered to honour the Field Marshal.
On his arrival, the special guest, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, inspected the ceremonial guard. During the ceremony the tri-services contingent stood in immaculate formation as the Field Marshal reviewed the honour guard, reflecting the unity and discipline of Pakistan’s armed forces.
