British Airways flight to Islamabad delayed

LONDON: A British Airways flight to Islamabad has not been allowed to take off from London Gatwick Airport on Thursday due to a technical glitch.

The flight BA 2161 has been delayed for more than four hours.

More than 300 Pakistani passengers are said to be abroad the aircraft including women, children and the elderly.

“It’s been four hours since we have been sitting in the plane and we are not being allowed to disembark”, the passengers complained.

Even the food has expired, they complained.

According to the flight enquiry the British Airways flight was supposed to leave from London to Islamabad at 9:30 am local time and arrive at 10:15 pm. But now its new departure time is 2:45 pm.
