Bengaluru: A Brazilian model was reportedly harassed by a delivery agent in India’s southern city of Bengaluru.
According to Indian media, the incident occurred on October 17 in Karnataka’s capital, where the model was staying at a hotel. The harassment took place when a delivery agent arrived to hand over a parcel she had ordered online.
In her complaint to the police, the model stated that the delivery man touched her inappropriately and behaved indecently while delivering the food she had ordered through an online app.
Indian media quoted the Deputy Commissioner of Police as confirming the incident, identifying the accused as Kumar Rao, a college student working part-time as a delivery agent. The officer further said that the suspect was arrested the same day the complaint was filed.
