Liaqat Shaheed near Kohat

A brave citizen near the inter-provincial area of Jand and Khushal Garh Bridge, Kohat, sacrificed his life and saved the local population from a major disaster.

According to details, a suspicious person (a Khariji terrorist) was moving through the fields near Jand and Khushal Garh Bridge, Kohat, when Liaqat, a resident of Mankor village in Jand tehsil of Attock district, stopped him and asked for identification.

The suicide bomber, in panic, blew himself up, as a result of which the brave citizen Liaqat was martyred on the spot, while the Khariji attacker was also killed.

Martyr Liaqat was a retired Pakistan Railways employee

According to initial reports, the terrorist’s target was to reach a sensitive checkpoint located in the inter-provincial area, but the citizen’s timely bravery prevented major loss of life.

Martyr Liaqat stood like a wall of steel before the enemy and saved not only the checkpoint but also many precious lives nearby.

These incidents reflect that, under the patronage of the Afghan Taliban, Kharijites are attempting to target civilians and security personnel; however, the armed forces, police, and brave citizens remain a wall of steel against their evil intentions.

The nation will never forget the sacrifice of Martyr Liaqat. Brave citizens like him are Pakistan’s true asset.
