Webdesk (March 6, 2026): Preparations for the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 have reached their peak with the iclusion of globally renowned pop singer.

On Sunday, India and New Zealand will face each other in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Before the big cricket clash, global pop sensation Ricky Martin will perform at the closing ceremony.

Known as the “King of Latin Pop,” Ricky Martin will perform in India for the first time since 1998, making the event even more memorable with a blend of music and sport.

Ricky Martin rose to global fame in the late 1990s and has been nominated for the Grammy Awards seven times because of his unique musical style.

On the other hand, the Indian team reached the final after a thrilling 7-run victory over England in the second semifinal. They now aim to strengthen their performance in the final.

Team India will try to erase the painful memories of the 2023 ODI World Cup final defeat — suffered at the same venue against Australia. This time, India has a golden opportunity to become the first team to defend a title on home soil.
