Web Desk: Dewan Motors, the official importer and distributor of BMW vehicles in Pakistan, has announced massive price reductions across its completely built-up pure-electric lineup, defying the volatile pricing trends of the local automotive market.

The distributor introduced the price cuts under a promotional campaign titled Mid Year Special, which trims millions off the retail price tags of popular German electric vehicles, including premium sedans and luxury crossover SUVs.

The revised pricing structure introduces substantial discounts, slashing up to PKR 10.3 million off high-end models. For instance, the high-performance BMW i4 M60 saw the most significant drop, with its price falling from the old retail price of PKR 50,037,415 to a new special price of PKR 39,700,000, representing a total difference of PKR 10,337,415.

Similarly, Dewan Motors reduced the price of the executive i5 eDrive40 by PKR 7,835,075, bringing its cost down to PKR 36,999,000 from the original PKR 44,834,075. The flagship luxury crossover, the iX xDrive60, received a price cut of PKR 7,266,659, establishing a new price of PKR 49,900,000.

For the entry-level premium segments, the i4 eDrive35 dropped by PKR 5,284,825 to a new price of PKR 24,999,000. Meanwhile, the compact crossover SUVs, the iX1 xDrive30 and iX2 xDrive30, received reductions of PKR 4,644,750 and PKR 2,633,900 respectively, bringing their new prices to PKR 25,499,000 and PKR 26,599,000.

Alongside these direct cash-off incentives, Dewan Motors is bundling the purchase with a complimentary Wallbox charger and home installation. Furthermore, the company backs the vehicles with an 8-year battery warranty and official certified aftersales support to attract skeptical luxury buyers.

This campaign follows a distinct promotional strategy utilized by Dewan Motors throughout the year. Rather than implementing permanent ex-factory price cuts, the distributor frequently relies on limited-time special pricing to kick-start sales quarters. While previous campaigns focused heavily on added value like extended service packages, this mid-year push directly targets the retail price to stimulate immediate demand.

Automotive experts note that these special prices make a compelling argument for buyers eyeing premium German electric vehicles. However, the distributor stated that these promotional rates remain closely tied to specific terms and conditions and will only last while stocks are available.
