Senior actor Asad Malik says life can be lived without marriage

Pakistani senior actor Asad Malik appeared on a private TV program and said he has no interest in marriage.

In his view life can be lived without marriage and he accepts that choice.

Asad Malik on marriage and responsibility

The actor said he likes children but will not marry only for that reason. He added that he cannot take on the responsibility that marriage demands.

He believes marriage asks for many sacrifices. Moreover, he is not ready to give up things that are important to his work and routine.

He said every person should make a careful and honest choice and stressed that respect for family remains important even without marriage.

Family memories and personal journey

Asad shared personal memories from his youth where he lost his mother at the age of 20.

He described her as strict and caring which drew him closer to his father.

 After his mother passed away his father lived alone for many years and said his father always listened to him and trusted his advice.

Furthermore, he arranged his father’s second marriage to ensure support and companionship and said this experience shaped his views on duty and transparency at home.

Career highlights and music work

Asad Malik is a Pakistani actor director producer and musician. He began as a film actor in 1989 and earned fame on television with the NTM drama Dasht in 1993.

In addition, later worked in many PTV and private productions and has acted in more than 300 TV dramas and 200 telefilms.

Additionally, in recent years he turned to music with a focus on Sufi inspired songs. Whereas his Punjabi track Dil Bolley Allah Hu was produced and released in 2020 on his personal YouTube channel.

He plans to keep creating work that promotes reflection and empathy.
