Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) founder’s sister, Aleema Khan questioning the rule of law in the country has said that even the judges’ have no real authority.
Talking to media on Tuesday at the marble factory checkpoint she said that rumours of arrests after February 8 are being spread deliberately
Some journalists are repeatedly posting vlogs to create fear.
She claimed that the rule of law has ended in the country and that even judges no longer have real authority.Earlier, people were afraid to discuss sub judice cases on television, but now contempt of court is being committed openly. She alleged that under the current system it is said with pride that a five-year sentence will be handed down on NAB’s instructions.
She claimed that verdicts are being decided in advance and judges deliver decisions on NAB’s directions.
She alleged that police threatened them at the checkpoint, saying a young man would be released if they took a specific route.
Aleema Khan accused the police of lying and making false statements even while swearing oaths.
She said a student named Najam was picked up for chanting slogans demanding the release of the PTI founder.
Najam is a student, and his only “crime,” she said, was taking the PTI founder’s name. She alleged that police officials arrived in a violent manner, pushed women, and that her sister fell to the ground.
She said she would present herself to be arrested so that the child could be released.
Aleema Khan questioned that if this is happening to them, what kind of treatment ordinary citizens must be facing.
She said morality has collapsed and oppression is being carried out for the sake of promotions.
