The match between Pakistan and India is scheduled for Sunday in Colombo. The Indian cricket team is set to arrive in Colombo tonight from New Delhi but India’s aggressive opener Abhishek Sharma is doubtful for the ICC T20 World Cup match against Pakistan.
According to Indian media, Abhishek Sharma was hospitalized due to a stomach infection. After his condition improved, he was discharged from the hospital and rejoined the team.
Reports add that his physical weakness remains a concern, and the medical team is monitoring him closely. A final decision regarding his participation against Pakistan will be made during the training session in Colombo tomorrow.
In a video with fellow cricketer Arshdeep Singh, Abhishek Sharma spoke about his health, mentioning that he has been eating only simple meals like rice and lentils and has also experienced weight loss.
