PNCA celebrates Pakistan Army’s success in ‘Bunyan Um Marsoos’ against India

The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) hosted its National Youth Art Exhibition and Competition on Monday at the National Art Gallery in Islamabad.

The event celebrated the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces through the creative works of young artists. The event, themed “Bunyanum Marsoos and Marka-e-Haq” (Battle of Truth), paid tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of Pakistan army.

The exhibition was inaugurated by renowned calligrapher Lt. Gen. (R) Humayun Bangash, who also presented awards to the winners.

The competition offered cash prizes of Rs. 40,000 for first place, Rs. 30,000 for second, and Rs. 20,000 for third, with seven honorary mentions receiving Rs. 5,000 each. All participating artists were awarded certificates for their contributions.

Open to students aged 16–25 from colleges and universities across Pakistan, the event showcased a diverse range of traditional and contemporary artworks.

Artists above 25 were allowed to exhibit but were not eligible to compete. The exhibition, held at Gallery No. 3 of the National Art Gallery.
