Web Desk: Pak Suzuki Motor Company has discontinued two variants of its popular Cultus hatchback and stopped accepting new bookings for the models with immediate effect, according to a company notice issued to authorised dealerships.
The automaker informed its dealer network on Sept. 1 that bookings for the Cultus VXR and Cultus AGS had been discontinued. The company said the Cultus VXL would remain available for both booking and sale.
Following the decision, Pak Suzuki instructed its authorised dealers to brief their sales teams and inform prospective buyers about the change in the Cultus lineup.
Dealers have also been directed not to accept any fresh bookings for either the VXR or AGS variants.
As a result, the Cultus VXL is now the only Cultus variant available for new bookings and sales through Pak Suzuki.
Pak Suzuki did not provide a reason for discontinuing the two variants in the notice.
The move nevertheless marks a significant change to the automaker’s Cultus lineup, with customers now having only one variant to choose from when placing a new booking.
The company has not indicated whether the discontinued variants will be replaced by new models or whether the decision signals a broader change in its product strategy.
For now, dealerships have been asked to follow the revised booking policy and ensure that customers are aware of the changes.
