Former Australian batter David Warner has made a sarcastic comment about Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq’s injury.

The 39-year-old former Australian opening batsman questioned a video of Imam-ul-Haq and asked whether he had also come out to bat after doing all that.

It may be recalled that former Australian batsman David Warner commented on a video of Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq batting in the nets on the fourth day of the Lord’s Test.

Following Pakistan’s defeat in the Lord’s Test, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on the one hand, decided to send Test opener Imam-ul-Haq back to Pakistan from London on the first available flight. On the other hand, the board also decided to conduct a high-level investigation into his calf injury.

The 30-year-old Imam-ul-Haq complained of discomfort in his calf on the first day of the Lord’s Test and subsequently did not bat in Pakistan’s second innings after batting in the first innings.

A previous inquiry report also resurfaced following Pakistan batter Imam-ul-Haq’s injury in England.

The earlier incident has led to questions being raised about Imam-ul-Haq’s latest injury as well.

According to sources, because of the earlier incident, the PCB will once again investigate Imam-ul-Haq’s latest injury. A PCB inquiry committee had held Imam-ul-Haq responsible for allegedly reporting a fake injury during Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand in March 2025.
