According to a message posted on the X account of the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, the event will begin at 5pm on August 14, and entry will be free for all citizens. The district administration has invited citizens to attend the event with their families and friends.

Details of the event have also been shared on the Facebook page of the Chief Commissioner Islamabad under the title “City Parade 2026.” According to the details, the programme will be held at D-Chowk at 5pm on August 14.

ISPR releases new national song ‘Mera Pyara Watan Pakistan’ for Independence Day

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new national song, “Mera Pyara Watan Pakistan”, on the occasion of Independence Day.

The lyrics of the patriotic song strongly reflect feelings of love for the homeland, national unity and loyalty to Pakistan.

The song showcases the beautiful valleys and breathtaking natural landscapes of Gilgit-Baltistan with a strong sense of patriotism. Singer Majid Ahmer, who belongs to Gilgit-Baltistan, has lent his voice to the song.

The national song describes Pakistan as the source of life and highlights the deep love and loyalty of the people towards their homeland. It beautifully portrays Pakistan’s natural beauty, national unity and the spirit of love for the country.
